Designed with the waterfowler in mind, the Tom Beckbe x Ducks Unlimited Steward Jacket is an 8.25 ounce waxed shelter cloth jacket made in the United States. The Steward Jacket is available exclusively in Wetlands Green, a color designed for its universal application across North America’s four waterfowl flyways and available only as part of Tom Beckbe’s collaboration with Ducks Unlimited. The men’s Steward Jacket has oversized front handwarmer pockets lined with soft, warm moleskin, a corduroy-lined cuff and collar with storm latch, gusseted underarms, and a bi-swing back. The sleeves are lined with a smooth synthetic twill for easy layering. Front bellow pockets offer generous storage for shells and other essentials. Your garment's thin waxed coating resists liquids and makes it relatively easy to clean. Waxed cotton should not be machine washed or dry cleaned and should be kept away from hot water and harsh detergents that will remove the wax coating. When spots occur, use a damp rag or soft bristle brush to gently buff out the stained area. If spots are particularly stubborn, use a castile soap and rinse with lukewarm water. Re-wax the area with our reproofing wax and hang to air dry in a warm place.
Generally, rinse dirt and debris by hand with cold water and air dry. Do not iron. Do not bleach. Do not dry clean. Do not machine wash. Do not use artificial heat to dry, expose to open flames, or hang on radiators.
